Recently we’ve been working hard with DirectX11 and learning how to create our own small rendering engines from scratch. This week I tried making a smaller FBX importer, which is far from complete, but this little test here today gave me a bit of inspiration for all the challenges to come.

Next task on the list is to apply textures and sample them for final rendering. The camera features simple walk and strafe movement, as well mouse control for looking around in the scene. I decided it would be fun to document my progress in DirectX and share it  🙂
